Sweet Potato for breakfast

WOO its early! I loved that boxing class I took on Tuesday so much that I decided to wake up early again to go. It will be worth it 🙂

Breakfast this morning was untraditional, but then again so am I.

I had the normal egg whites, and 1/4 cup of oatmeal, along with two baby oranges.

I was still hungry and that left me under 300 calories and I know I need more than that to get through my workout.

I am out of egg whites, and fruit, so I was trying to think of what I could have for about another 100 or so calories.

The obvious choice was SWEET POTATO. Haha i am obsessed with these things lately and they do very well at holding me over, so I had that.

Now i am getting ready for the gym. I am feeling DOMS like crazy!! That boxing class mixed with my training has made me completely sore from head to toe. My back, my arms, my butt, you name it. I love it though! Yesterday Dae had me do back and triceps and I have to say I love the untraditional mixes of muscle groups. It is my new obsession. Shoulders and biceps being my favorite, back and triceps was pretty cool too. I just feel like it gives me a totally different workout when I do it that way since I am so used to the normal back/biceps, chest triceps yada yada.

I thought yesterday, what would my boss say if I called him and told him I wasn’t coming in to work because I had DOMS hahaha. Not that I would do that, but it crossed my mind. Of course he would have no idea what it was and probably think it was some horrible syndrome or virus, but I would get a laugh.

Anyways, I am completely rambling, probably because its 5:45 and i have already been up for an hour. I love my time in the morning. I love sitting down to breakfast and enjoying my food, reading blogs, fishing around on the internet. It is my only time of the day where I feel relaxed and not in a rush, so I make sure to wake up early enough so that I can have that time. ME time is important!

Tuesday i ended up at about 2500 calories (very high but i coudln’t get enough food that day!!) but i guess it balances out because yesterady I barely got down 1500 calories. My body is learning to balance itself and I love it 🙂

Okay im off to the gym, then i need to go to the grocery store and fill up on basics, then eat lunch and off to school until 9pm. Longggg day. Hope you all have a good one!

    I must ask where you get all your energy from lol I can’t even manage to get my butt off the couch..is there anything in particular that motivates you? I’m having a really hard time in that dept. lately…any tips would be much appreciated..keep up the great work!!
