Sorry I didn’t post this morning…I just got home a little bit ago.
This morning I fueled up with the usual egg whites, rolled oats, banana, almond better, and grapefruit.
I started off the morning with a swim. My running partner Brittni texted me asking if I wanted to swim with her before she had to work so I did. (I plan on doing a triathlon in the fall…why not start training now? ha!)
After the swim, my trainer decided I should be put through torture for an hour. Great as always.
I then chose to run outside. First time in a longgg time. I initially planned on doing just 3 miles, but after I finished the 3 miles, I didn’t feel like I had gotten that great of a workout, so I kept on running. I ended up doing a little over 5 miles in 49 minutes. Not too shabby since I haven’t run outside pretty much since my half marathon! I forgot how much I love running outside and how much I H.A.T.E the treadmill.
Too bad it will be 120 degrees here soon and I won’t be able to run outside unless its at 4AM. Booo. Oh well.
Anyways I’m off on a date tonight!!!! Will update you all tomorrow!
Running outside seems to always go by so much more quickly! Thanks for the input yesterday…I still struggle every now and then realizing that I have to up my calories to lost weight and burn fat.
Keep up the awesome work! I must say it was your blog (you seem to have the same intesnsity when it comes to your goals that I do) that made me do one of my own! Have a great weekend 🙂
sounds like a great run! It’s finally starting to get nice here so soon I can run outside! YAY!!
