Great day

Today was a good day. I woke up early and hiked camelback again. Afterwards I raced home, put on my rollerblades(I know im such a nerd haha) and headed down to the field. Today was our softball championships. Last year we won the championship, but unfortunately this year we took 2nd place. It was HOT out there by the second game. It was 10:30 am and already about 95 degrees. By the time we finished, I still had to rollerblade home….it was about 100 degrees by then. The “breeze” I was getting as I rollerbladed was HOT air. Not enjoyable, but I trekked on ha. I had to jump in the shower and clean up really quick before my dad picked me up to go to lunch with my sister, brother and our cousin that we have not seen in YEARS. We used to hang out with her when we were younger but lost touch. We went to True Food Kitchen, which is an all organic healthy restaurant developed by Fox Restaurant Concepts. The whole menu is pre-approved by Dr. Andrew Weil. It was really good. I was actually able to eat at a restaurant!! Haha. I ordered the Tuna Sashimi Salad which came with avocado, edamame, sesame seeds, grape tomatoes and cucumbers. I ordered it without dressing and without edamame. It was good, but very light and didn’t keep me full for long. We walked around the Biltmore for a little bit afterwards and then headed home. I have just been hanging out at home since then. I was supposed to go to a graduation party tonight, but I am just not up for it. It has been a longggg day and I just want to relax on the couch!

 

OH! Before I forget! I tried my raw oats this morning(soaked overnight) They were good. It tasted like my normal oatmeal, but really cold haha. I am going to have it again tomorrow as well. All my veggies were raw today as well. I am not willing to give up my egg whites, though and I bought some turkey breasts tonight that I plan on cooking up tomorrow. I need my protein and I don’t feel the need to cut out egg whites and chicken/turkey.

SUNDAY

MEAL 1

(Pre-Workout)

  • ¼ c rolled oats
  • ½ c egg whites
  • ½ tbsp AB
  • 41g banana
  • Cinnamon
  • (Raw oats…not too bad!)
  • 1 grapefruit
  • 10 big strawberries

MEAL 2

(Post-Workout)

  • 1c spinach
  • 1c egg whites
  • Green peppers

MEAL 3

  • Baby carrots
  • 2 big strawberries

MEAL 4

  • 4 oz.Tuna sashimi
  • 2 cups Baby greens
  • ¼ avocado
  • ½ c grape tomatos

MEAL 5

  • 1c spinach
  • 1c egg whites
  • 18 strawberries
  • Green peppers
  • Grapefruit

MEAL 6

  • Carrots
  • 1c spinach
  • 1.5c egg whites
  • 1.5 bananas
  • ½ tbsp AB

MEAL 7

  • 1 banana

TRAINING

 

CARDIO

  • Hiked camelback mountain(30 min. to the top today!)
  • Rollerbladed to and from softball(11 miles)
  • 2 softball games

    Your body is looking fantastic!! If I could only make my “bad” eating days a little less frequent (or even stick to a bad meal) I would be better off.

    Every three weeks seems to be working for you lol! You’re getting soooo lean 🙂
